Rabbi Yitzchak Feldheim

Rabbi Yitzchak Feldheim’s quick wit and larger than life personality has endeared him to hundreds of communities and campuses across the country. Growing up in New York City and serving as the Rabbi of Yardley, Pennsylvania for 15 years, Rabbi Feldheim’s unique experiences have provided him a riveting perspective on Jewish thought and philosophy.

Rabbi Feldheim’s expertise is delivering clever and humorous presentations meant to provoke and engage his audience.

 

 

 


Rabbi Dr. Chaim Wakslak

Rabbi Wakslak has a long and distinguished rabbinic career. He received semichah in 1970 from Rav Gedaliah Schor, zt’l, at Mesivta Torah Vodaath, where he learned in the beis midrash for over 12 years. Rabbi Wakslak then started his rabbinical career as an assistant rabbi to Rabbi Eli Chaim Carlebach, z’l, in Hillside, N.J. Following his marriage to Rivka Morgenstern in 1972, he moved to Belle Harbor, where he served as the rabbi of the Young Israel of Belle Harbor for 13 years. During his tenure, a new shul and mikveh were built, and he was instrumental in the establishment of Yeshiva Mercaz HaTorah of Belle Harbor.

In 1986, Rabbi Wakslak assumed the position as mara d’asra of the Young Israel of Long Beach, where he has served for the past 21 years. He has revitalized the neighborhood with a host of innovative programs, constructed a new shul building, built a new mikveh, and established a va’ad ha’kashrus. Rabbi Wakslak established the only daf yomi shiur in the neighborhood and has been teaching daf yomi for the past 16 years.

Rabbi Wakslak also received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Hofstra University in 1974. He is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist and served as clinical director and administrator of the Brunswick Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital in Amityville, where he specialized in clinical neuropsychology for over 20 years. He also served as a consultant to the Hebrew Academy of Special Children, Bais Ezra/Ohel, the New York State Department of Education, and the New York State Department of Disability Determinations. At the present time, Dr. Wakslak is the clinical director of HASC Center in Brooklyn.

 



Rabbi Shlomie Schwartzberg

Rabbi Shloime Schwartzberg, MSW, has lectured nationally for Torah Umesorah’s Project SEED & is the scholar-in-residence for Torah Links in New Jersey.He currently lectures and counsels for Project Chazon & teaches in Seminary Maayanot Yaakov.

Rabbi Schwartzberg is presently working on a new multi-media Shas project due to commence this summer with the new Daf Yomi cycle.

Rabbi Shlomie Stein

Rabbi Shlomie Stein Rosh chabura in Lakewood Yeshiva and Rov of the yungerleit minyan on ave K and e29th street in Brooklyn will be joining us for the whole pesach and will entertain us with various divrei torah and halachic lecture’s. Rav stein will also be present to answer any shailos that any of our guests might encounter over Pesach.
